Logs you back on to Video Monitoring Software program again. Video Monitoring Software program can be set to automatically log anyone off after a set period of time if the feature is set. Just in case you forget to log off when you leave the program. If this happens while you are using the program or web page, just log yourself back on with this function.
Always use this function when you are finished with accessing Video Monitoring Software program remotely.
Use this with your cell phone to activate/deactivate alarms and capture when entering or leaving your home or site.
Starts streaming live video to media player on your mobile device. Once clicked, you are taken to another page, to click on a link to open up Media Player - do so. Watch the live video and audio, and auto camera switching. When finished, click "Back" on your device, to execute more commands from the Admin Web Page e.g. Start Video Monitoring Again, and then Log Off.
You can enter any number of config file: numbers. Several configurations are already provided for you with different streaming bandwidths, config file 1=56Kbs, 2=22Kbs, 3=30Kbs. You can create your own and add more.
If you want to change the configuration file while already streaming video in live mode above, you must stop the remote view by click on Start Video Monitoring Again, then re-start the live view with Start Media Player, with config file: 3, so the new transmission bandwidth configuration gets loaded.
Great little feature lets you switch to whatever camera you want to look through. After you click it, click "Back" on your device to come back to the Admin Page commands, then click, Go Back to Media Player, which brings the Media Player up again with live video from the camera you selected.
Takes you back to the Media Player window playing live video after you execute any Admin Page commands. Note: you must already be streaming video in Live Mode, for this to work ( not in Web Monitoring Mode).
Always remember to click this command before you logoff - so you put the Video Monitoring Software program back into Monitoring Mode so it will do its video monitoring when you leave. (Live Mode Time Out feature will automatically take care of this for you if set.)
Starts streaming video in Live Mode, but no Media Player is opened up for you by the program. Then you open Media Player yourself and use the Open URL feature of Media Player to connect manually. Click, Get Video Port Number, command right below it so you will know which port to connect through, when you use the Open URL command.
A must for checking what state the program is in. You can see if you have left the program with Activated or Deactivated alarms when you are about to leave. Check if any alarms happened while you were away. Check the status, before you do a Save Configuration.
Clears the number of frames saved count to 0. So next time you come back you can tell if any motion was detected and video saved.
Starts automatically switching between cameras while viewing the live video. If you do a Switch to Camera command above the automatic camera switching stops. To start it again click this item.
You can set the number of seconds you would like to view each camera, during the automatic camera switching.
Saves whatever settings you have changed to file e.g. alarm activation state on or off. Note: if you save the configuration when alarms are deactivated, next time the program starts up the alarms and capture will be deactivated. Be careful here check program status to be sure. Camera switching dwell time can be saved.
There is a file in c:\program files\site monitor, called FindMyIP.htm. Edit this file and put it on your mobile device for a quick way to find your Video Monitoring Software System IP address on the internet. Handy if you have a changing dynamic ip address.
Sometimes the browser session expires go back to the original logon page and logon again, or close and open browser again.
Clear the browser cache of save web pages so you actually get a response from the server and not some old file from disk.
Start out using low transmission bandwidth configurations e.g. config file: 2 to start so you do get video and audio. Then later try high transmission bandwidths if you want, transmitting to fast may cause no video to be seen in Media Player. Too slow Media Player will buffer too much. Sometimes network traffic is heavy use lower transmission speed.
Small mobile devices only show one page at time on their screen, so take care when you click "Back" not to click it too many times so as not to find your back to the original page. Click Back once and wait for the page to be fully downloaded before trying to execute commands from it.
You can access the large main Video Monitoring Software Monitor Program Administration page for other commands, just Logon without the check mark beside Mobile Device.
