Configure Live Streaming
Menu Location: Settings - Video Streaming
Launches a program which is used to configure the live video streaming properties of the Video Surveillance WebCam Software. One can edit or create new Streaming Configuration Files. The program pops up, then follow the displayed instructions.
First read, Test Live Video Streaming, and follow that procedure, before running this menu item.
If you get errors when click on menu item Stream, or link Stream live video , with config file: 1 from the Remote User Interface, use this menu item re-configure the Streaming Configuration File to work with your video capture hardware.
The Video Surveillance WebCam Software comes with some Streaming Configuration Files already in the program directory c:\monitor\program, you can edit them to work with your particular video and audio capture hardware. They are named StreamLive1.wme, StreamLive2.wme, StreamLive3.wme .... or LiveToLive1.asd, LiveToLive2.asd, LiveToLive3.asd....
One can also create new Streaming Configuration Files with this menu item to accommodate user preferences eg larger image sizes, faster streaming bit rate.
Manual Configuration as an Alternative
As an alternative to using the configuration program, one can manually make or re-configure Streaming Configuration Files.
If title of configuration program which pops up when click on this menu item is Configure Live Streaming 9 do the following: Manually Configure Live Streaming 9.
If title of configuration program which pops up when click on this menu item is Configure Live Streaming 4 do the following: Manually Configure Live Streaming 4.
